A city bus driver was brutally murdered during a violent robbery in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The incident took place on the night of Monday, April 15, 2024, according to security camera records, and the images captured were very shocking.
According to videos broadcast on social networks, around 8:35 p.m. a group of criminals, all wearing caps, boarded a bus on line 45 that was traveling through Chambers and 41st streets, beginning the assault on the few passengers present. .
Initially, the criminals focused on stripping the passengers of their belongings, but when they reached the driver's area, accompanied by a young woman, they also attacked him to snatch the day's earnings.
Despite the driver's attempts to calm the situation, the criminals' violence increased, hitting him with a gun and even shooting him, although they initially did not hit him.
After looting everything possible, one of the criminals ordered his death. With brutality, one of them shot the driver before leaving the bus, seriously wounding him and then ending his life with another shot.
Despite the woman's pleas and her attempts to protect the driver, nothing could stop the fatal outcome. Covered in blood, the driver lay while his companion burst into despair and the few passengers called for help.
By the morning of Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Police had already arrested two of the three criminals responsible for the atrocious crime committed on line 45.
