John Fitzgerald Kennedy was an American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. He was the youngest person elected president. Kennedy served at the height of the Cold War, and the majority of his foreign policy concerned relations with the Soviet Union and Cuba. A Democrat, Kennedy represented Massachusetts in both houses of the United States Congress prior to his presidency. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas at 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on November 22, 1963. He was in Texas on a political trip to smooth over frictions in the Democratic Party between liberals Ralph Yarborough and Don Yarborough (no relation) and conservative John Connally. Traveling in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza, he was shot once in the back, the bullet exiting via his throat, and once in the head. Kennedy was taken to Parkland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later, at 1:00 p.m. He was 46 years old.

Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the murder of police officer J. D. Tippit and was subsequently charged with Kennedy's assassination. He denied shooting anyone, claiming he was a patsy, and was shot dead by Jack Ruby on November 24, before he could be prosecuted.

Ruby was arrested and convicted for the murder of Oswald. Ruby successfully appealed his conviction but died of cancer on January 3, 1967, while the date for his new trial was being set.

Wow i saw that many times, but it's the response of his wife every time that gets me. She clearly wanted to go away, get help and was just overwhelmed with the whole situation.

Well her husband is already dead, who knows, maybe the shooter also wanted to kill her too. She should protect herself atleast. Sometimes, the truth can be harsh.

She later stated that when she was climbing on the back of the motorcade, she was actually trying to grab pieces of JFKs brain matter and skull fragments and put his skull back together, it's truly sad how traumatic it must have been for her ro see the love of her life have his brains blown out right in front of her

She actually admitted later that she was in fact trying to eat his brain. She claimed that at the time she believed there was a fairly high likelihood that actually eating his brain would increase or at least improve brain.
