An unknown person opened fire near the Slavyansky shopping center in Krymsk in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, inbusiness.kz reports with reference to RIA Novosti.
According to the agency's source, two people were killed in the shooting. As the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Territory, Alexander Runov, said later, the death toll had increased to four people, including the attacker himself.
"Today, at about 17.00, in the premises of one of the medical centers in the city of Krymsk, located on Komarov Street, a local resident born in 1956 caused fatal gunshot wounds to two employees of this organization. Then he went outside and opened fire on passers-by. As a result, one person died on the spot, the second was seriously injured," he said.
After that, the attacker committed suicide.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident could be the result of divorce proceedings involving the attacker.
