Where’s etiquette that says to put one in the air? Most US cities have a law not to shoot in the air. Because, you know, what comes up must come down. He brought his fists to a gunfight and lost.

Holy shit. What a fucking idiot. What a way to tell the world you don’t know shit about guns and have probably never even owned or fired one in your life. Fucking pussy.

Warning shots are illegal, first of all, and you shouldn’t use a gun to warn people. They are not a tool to communicate with people, they are deadly force, retard. If the person isn’t enough of a threat to you to warrant using deadly force you should not be using a gun for it at all.

The guy was clearly threatening the gun owner and the only thing he did wrong was not take a headshot at such close range. You clearly see him point down towards center mass right before taking the shot. He probably just got nervous. Either way, this is is precisely what guns are for. Not only should his gun not be taken away, he should be sent to middle schools to talk to children about why they should carry guns when they are older.

Shooting in the air sounds like a polite thing to do. But in reality there is stuff up there. Like cables, lights, high-rises. Also, this would waste time that would give the attacker an advantage. A shot in the air is meant as a warning. He was sufficiently warned and had every opportunity to call it off and walk away unharmed. He asked for it because he was stupid. Now he might have a hole where is dick was.

the guy has a firearm. Let's say he agreed to fight him, what would've happened If he got knocked out?

a bullet to the leg is almost more deadly than an abdomen shot without immetidate attention

I don’t know why you are getting downvoted for saying this. You are 100% correct. A shot to the leg can kill you in under 3 minutes. People don’t know about arteries apparently. A shot to the abdomen will hurt like a bitch and might disable you for life. But 8 times out of 10 you’ll survive long enough to get medical attention and live.

The guy who got shot had a knife tucked in his waistband, I'm not going to risk going to ground with someone with a knife easily accessible

Yeah as stated numerous times, you actually should NOT shoot in the air, or ever give a warning shot for that matter.

As everyone already told you, you use the gun to eliminate the threat. Guarantee this guy did not need to be put down with a gat, but buddy pulled it and he used it.

It just hit me that your understanding of this issue is so backward and idiotic that you actually refer to the aggressor as “the victim” 😂

See? You don’t know shit about guns bro. This is a Taurus Judge and it’s basically a short barrel shotgun. In fact many countries (Mexico being one of them) classify it as a short barrel shotgun and they are illegal for civilian use.

Most people who shoot know what this is. You, predictably, don’t even know what it is and think it’s a toy lmao 😂

By the way, this is my current NRA certification. I am an instructor, and you are a certified reeetard.

No you dont lol

  1. Your interpretation is stupid and completely backwards. You refer to the assailant as “the victim”. The guy defended himself and the guy who got shot was the aggressor. Read about the story and get your facts straight you fucking fäggot.

  1. The shooting was legally justified and the man who defended himself was never charged with a crime.

You are dumb AF man, STFU already
