Its a hard concept to a lot of you retards but a firearm is a lethal force weapon used to kill not wound. If you want to survive and armed robbery as a perpetrator i have two tips for you.

1: Bring a real gun

2: Dont be in Fucking Texas. A state known for their lax gun laws/self defense statutes

Why any dipshit would think robbing customers in Texas with a fake gun... and imagine no one has a real one? Live a mile east of where this happened, and despite what "Officer Tatum" said it was clear he would not be charged. (Not that he should be in terms of ethics.)

My brother and I have been called in for Houston Jury duty. DAs are not prosecuting anything, much less a citizen stomping on what seems to be a legit threat. Both times we waited and hour and were told to go home b/c there were going to be no trials.

There are two entirely different questions that will be considered separately, one by the general public, and one by the criminal justice system. From a purely moral perspective, in my view the robber forfeited his life when he committed an armed robbery. The gun was obviously regarded as real, otherwise the robbery wouldn't have been possible. The nature of the condition or status of the gun is irrelevant in either legal or moral considerations, since it was convincing enough to project a threat of death. The legal standard is entirely different. In Texas, use of deadly force, where otherwise indicated, can be applied until reasonable threat of imminent harm is removed. The shots fired after the shooter was down will be heavily scrutinized, and the headshot at the end will likely give prosecution a strong case against the shooter. My intuition is that he is probably a prohibited possessor, which would likely be ignored if the shoot was otherwise justified in every other respect because of a very limited circumstance where life would have presumably been lost if not for the action of the prohibited possessor. Because of the extra headshot at the end, my guess is that charges will be filed, some of which will likely stick. Again, I have no sympathy for robbers, but the law isn't necessary congruent with my perception of morality.
