Eh, really depends on the round and the rifle. Hard to tell because of quality but it looks like it may be a 5.56x45 platform. It’s likely that the bullet impacted and either fragmented or yawed, which would change the exit wound angle. I’m not saying it’s impossible that it hit the child, but I doubt it.
