Agreed, those cops were useless and unfit to serve and protect anyone or anything.
But there's also good cops out there - Some people are just shitty, like the ones doing these shootings or the ones admiring them... Or people that just stand there and watch or film those events.

I always hear or read this 'argument' (platitude), 'not all cops are bad', and then I think about how there are never any whistleblowers within the police force. None of them ever call out corruption within their own ranks. It's also far too common for all the underlings to just sit back and watch fellow officers apply excessive force and kill people; like officer Francine Martinez who has been convicted for failing to intervene during a police beating.
As a Canadian, the one thing that got me was how brutal 'pandemic police' were. Government officials kept creating more elaborate and creative schemes to fuck with citizens, basically destroying people's lives, and there were no officers who stopped and thought 'this is too far; we won't be enforcing that'. Zero. In fact they took joy in brutalising anyone who was opposed to their employers, like during the Trucker Ottawa protest in the winter when they trampled people with horses, tried freezing them out by confiscating fuel they used to keep warm, trying with all their might to stop monetary and food donations. Even members in the EU parliament said Canada looked like a scene from Iran.
Good cops? Look, these people are not your friends. They are securing a paycheck. To them, beating your face in, because their ego was threatened by you, was simply a Tuesday.

Everyone's hating on all the cops here, but they were just following protocol. The one's who wanted to do something knew they would be arrested.
The officer whose wife was in there tried to go save her, they took his gun and detained him. The officers in charge, especially of such inhumane protocol, should definitely be arrested or worse.

Absolutely, but it's easy to hate them behind a computer screen. Their livelihood, everything they've worked for, their silly little rank, and being arrested is at stake.
They should've gone in anyway, but they didn't. Hating on the cops who wanted to go in, but knew they would be arrested isn't entirely warranted.
If there wasn't enough officers with balls (there wasn't), there wouldnt be a majority and they would just arrest the officers who wanted to try and save some kids over protocol. The officers in charge should absolutely be held responsible.
