Yeah alot of people flee the area or at least hide. Effectiveness of shooting in malls is very small compared to something like a school, where students are locked into a classroom in groups of 20+. On the other hand in bigger crowds shooters dont shoot as much for killing but to hit as many people as possible, where there wasnt as much large crowds here.

There have been 7 mass shootings in Europe on a population of 740 million. That's less than one mass shooting per 100 million people in 4 months.
There have been 185 mass shootings in the US on a population of 330 million. That's more than 56 mass shootings per 100 million people in 4 months. That's more than 50 times the risk PER PERSON. You're more than 50 times as likely to die in a mass shooting in the US than anywhere in Europe. Tell me again how this is totally fine and actually "makes the US so great". And this is only looking at mass shootings (more than 3 people involved), don't even get me started on small gun crime that involves less than 3 people. I believe it looks even worse for the US there.

They’re not even number 1 when you include suicide (2/3 of all gun deaths in USA is suicide) and look at total gun deaths (they’re 2nd to brazil)….. meanwhile per capita there’s more guns in America than any other country (2nd is Balkan islands I think) if it was simply guns being the problem, America would have close to double the gun violence of the next closest country but like I said; they’re 22nd
Otoh, Per capita America is number 1 when it comes to medication with 2/3 of the population on one prescription, and close to 1/2 on more than one….. with the states accounting for 40% of the global pharma market

I’m not denying that the US has a gun problem. But your facts are skewed. Does this account for mass shootings in the Middle East? They don’t just mow down a few people. they massacre groups of people. The numbers don’t match. That’s just the Middle East. African warlords and cartels in South America also aren’t being counted in there. Anders Brevik slaughtered almost 80 people in a day. Christ Church, 51 people murdered. Count numbers, not incidents if you want a side-by-side comparison.
Overall, like I said in the first message, violence is all over. If it wasn’t a gun someone would either make a bomb or just stab someone as alternate means. There are plenty more ways for sure.
