Less than one second. It's kind of unbelievable, I'd like to know who these guys are- cops? Security? Hard to tell. The plan was brilliant- disarm the bomb and grab the woman, which will fully distract the guy, giving the shooter the perfect opportunity, the fucker never saw it coming.
But for those 3 men to pull this off, coordinating the disarming of the bomb, pulling the woman out of potential line of fire, and shooting the guy in less than one second would be unbelievable in a movie! I wonder if they had a signal, like "NOW!" or something that set them all into action?

I think it was 2 large pipe bombs with a charge stuffed in one end which was wired to a trigger the robber was holding... kinda like a Estes model rocket set up...

those look like industrial dynamite sticks to me. i imagine he pulled out the blasting cap, he possibly recognized them as such and knew the device isn't sophisticated enough to have anti-tampering. looks like china so it feels likely, people steal dynamite from worksites there like its the 60s.

Hi. Former EOD tech here, most IEDs are quite crude, especially ones made domestically, and typically do not have any "trip wires". So, most of the time, pulling or cutting random wires would do that job. Of course, in the field you would never do that, because it is stupid.
