A resident of turnberry towers in Las Vegas, Nevada successfully drops an armed individual.
The shooter entered the lobby with an assault rifle and (possibly) other weapons, and is seen shooting out a glass pane as he is just out of frame. Moments later as he attempts to leave, an armed employee shoots him in the back, potentially saving lives of people outside of the building.
Prosecutors have charged Andrew Warrender (the man armed with an assault weapon) 32, with attempted murder, two counts of assault with the use of a deadly weapon, and illegally discharging a gun. Let me know if you have any more information.

I'm hoping the states attorneys are just getting their ducks in order before they file charges against the rifleman who shot first. They have to be positive they can prove intent before they bring forth charges. It can take months/years in some cases. The man they're charging also allegedly has one of the best attorneys Nevada has to offer, so he should get off easy. If they believe that you are an immediate danger to public safety they will do just about anything to find an appropriate charge for the dude with the rifle to be book on. Even if they find a small charge to keep you around until they find a larger one. He would be looking at a class A misdemeanor in my state for discharging the weapon without reason in a public place if they were being lenient. I can’t imagine they didn’t book this guy for something after he got out of the hospital for that at the least. Even if he bailed out. It’s on camera.
