Stupid question time: When I see videos like this I always wonder are the bullets getting lodged in the head/body, or are they passing through? I'm always expecting some indication of pass-through like sparks or dirt/whatever flying up but I rarely see that. I know it depends on the firearm being used but...

Like I said stupid question but I'm genuinely curious.

They're passing through also why would spark come out if there's blood

Sparking was just a basic indication or example of what I mean by evidence. I know this isn't Hollywood. It just seems like the human body is more of a bullet sponge than I expected, yet other videos make the human body look so fragile. I guess there are just so many factors at play during what is essentially a basic act. I expected more variation for lack of a better term/explanation. Anyway thanks for taking the time to reply.

It depends on a variety of circumstances including type of caliber, type of firearm and wound location.
