I heard that that’s a stat that’s changed over time. Supposedly back in the day more gun suicides were pointed at the heart. I don’t know if it’s advances in body shot treatment or the popularization of headshots in media post Vietnam but nowadays it’s definitely mostly headshot suicides.

that poor lost soul deserves our sympathy. suicide is just a call for help and an a very final way of expressing the true pain and suffering he is going through. I will always remember this young man as someone who valiantly fought his demons, and it ended in a draw. let us all make the world a better place in his memory, and remember that you should never kill yourself, but if you do, no one will ever think poorly on you for that very necessary choice.
