The West Freeway Church of Christ shooting took place on December 29, 2019, in White Settlement, Texas, in the United States. Two people in the congregation were killed before the gunman was fatally shot by 71-year-old Jack Wilson, a volunteer security team member. The attack was live-streamed, as are all services at the church. Video of the shooting appeared online in real time, and was captured, leading to multiple Twitter posts and YouTube videos showing the actual crime in progress.
The perpetrator, wearing a fake beard and a hat, briefly spoke to Anton Wallace before drawing a shotgun and leveling it. Upon the perpetrator drawing his shotgun, churchgoer Richard White and Jack Wilson both drew their pistols. However, as they were drawing their pistols, the perpetrator opened fire, killing White with a single shot before immediately turning and firing his second shot at Wallace, killing him. The perpetrator then turned to his left, presumably to open fire on the crowd; however, he was shot and killed by Wilson.
The gunman was identified as 43-year old Keith Thomas Kinnunen, of River Oaks, Texas. He was wearing a fake beard and a wig and immediately raised the suspicions of the security deacons serving the church.

You can still own guns, shoot at ranges, go hunting, etc without making guns easily accessible to dangerous people. I can’t understand why conservative America refuses to do the same

Because rights are easy to lose and hard to get back, and because the people constantly pushing for regulations have no knowledge of guns or how effective existing regulations are. They'd happily ban guns if given the chance, and at the very least would love to tie gun ownership and red flag laws to social issues.

The Czech Republic has virtually the same gun laws as the US yet has a lower homicide rate than Australia: 0.72/100,000 vs 0.87/100,000
Switzerland basically the same, with 27.6 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate of 0.54/100,000
Let me go on:
Serbia: 39.1 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate 1.02
Finland: 32.4 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate 1.36
Cyprus: 34 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate 1.24
Iceland: 31.7 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate 1.37 (1.37 in 2020, but was 0.28 in 2019 and an overwhelmingly lower in rate than Australia the prior 2010s years)
Austria: 30 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate of 0.72
Norway: 28.8 guns/100 citizens - homicide rate of 0.57
And I could keep going... All of these countries have guns everywhere and they all have nearly identical homicide rates to Australia, and as you can see, some much lower. You need to now understand that inanimate objects don't kill people, people kill people, so stop having whatever psychotic or autism attack that's going on in your comments in this post.
