Several Men are Murdered in the Middle of the Sea

In August of 2012, one of the most mysterious and interesting killings happened. At least four men were killed in the middle of the Indian Ocean after their boat was destroyed. While they were trying to stay afloat in the water by clinging to the remains of the boat, they were shot by men on another boat, which has now been identified as "Ping Shin No. 101".

What makes this footage so mysterious is just how little information there is on the video. First of all, the footage is the only proof we have that this incident even happened in the first place, and it wasn't discovered until two years later in 2014, when the video was found on a cell phone that was left in a taxi in Fiji. Secondly, there isn't an obvious reason as to why these men were killed. And thirdly, almost everyone in this video still remains unidentified. The people in the video speak several languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai. Not only that, but one of the boats has markings in Taiwanese. This suggests that there is no geographical relation between any of the people in this video.

Despite the sheer lack of information, in 2020, Taiwanese police arrested 43 year-old Wang Feng Yu, who is believed to be the man who shouted the orders to kill the others. He was sentenced to 26 years in prison. Other than that, nothing else is known about this crime. No bodies have been located, no motive has been established, and the rest of the crew are still out there.
