Man shot and killed at gas station in Chicago (no sound)

CHICAGO, IL — A man was shot and killed at a gas station near Chicago and Hamlin Avenue in East Garfield Park Tuesday, with the homicide captured on surveillance video.

At around 10:40am on May 3rd, the man, 32, was shot multiple times in a parking lot in the 3700 block of West Chicago Avenue, according to Chicago police.

Video shows an unidentified suspect opening fire on the victim with a rifle at point blank range.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A gunman was spotted fleeing north on Hamlin Avenue following the homicide, according to Chicago police.
