I thought at least some versions of RPG's need to spin a few times before being armed?

(this prevents them from going off accidentally. They need to leave the barrel and rotate in the air before they can explode)

But maybe this thing had been fired, and armed itself, but maybe, I don't know, didn't hit anything in a way to set it off - but the idiot slamming the front of the thing into the ground detonated it?

Yeah some RPG rockets have a certain arming distance such as 50m or more but I think with this one the tip of the rocket hit a rock or something and it was just hard enough to set it off also could be that the russians have shit faulty ammo which wouldn't be a surprise

he actually throws the RPG at a downed drone (if he just left it or threw something from a greater distance he would probably survive)

Or he might have just received minor concussion injuries if he'd actually have been smart enough to put himself completely behind the tree - with the tree between him and the downed drone.

I am the “office manager” of AHS. I've spent the past three years keeping spreadsheets and have inboxes full of ticket closures, and have written reports characterizing the response accuracy of Reddit AEO.

Would you like to escalate and mansplain my field of expertise to me more?
