On February 24th 2022, Russia attempted (and failed) to blitzkrieg the sovereign nation of Ukraine. Almost two years later as of this writing, the resultant war is still ongoing. Slavshit is where content pertaining to that goes.

Your perspective lacks foundation.
1. Since Ukraine is not part of Russia, they have no jurisdiction to intervene.
2. Ukraine has been at war with Russian proxies in the Donbas region since ‘14; they are not “bombing Russian civilians”.
3. They only reason why Ukraine is at war in Donbas is because of Russian occupation after the 2014 ousting of the Pro Russian government and the annexation of Crimea.
4. Russia did not occupy Donbas to protect the civilians, otherwise they wouldn't have leveled the entire eastern Ukraine. Russia motivation is the rich agricultural, and industrial land, the access to gas pipelines, and access to black sea (trade control).
It seems that you are just reading the headlines and is misguided by misinformation. You seem to think Russia invaded Ukraine out of the goodness of their heart to save Russians. Sorry to break that for you, but the only reason they are there is financial and strategic leverage over western countries, and the hope of restoring the pre USSR collapse territories.
So to directly answer your question; If a large ethnic group is being cleansed then a powerful country or organization might interfere in order to stop that action. However, Russia is doing the complete opposite by escalating to a full scale war, destroying the same areas that they said they are trying to “protect” and are not even doing it for any reason other than geopolitical and economical reasons.
I would suggest you do a better and more thorough search on this topic and the geopolitics behind it, instead of just blindly believing what Putin says.

1. Not going to respond to this just yet; I want to ask you a counter question: Since Iran isn't apart of the United States, do they have any jurisdiction to intervene? Since Vietnam wasn't apart of the United States, did they have any jurisdiction to intervene? Where is THEIR reparations? Where is THEIR compensation for what the UNITED STATES has done?
2. I never said "Russian Civilians", I said Ethnic Russians, along with this proxy war doesn't mean there isn't non-combatants, in which in these territories, Ukraine has often indiscriminately dropped bombs and fired artillery at Civilian infrastructure.
3. Russian occupation came because of the refusal to secede land to separatist forces, who called on Russia for support. In order to lessen the casualties and de-escalate, the so called "Little Green Men" were sent to help separatist forces and strengthen territory borders.
4. Russia has access to the Black Sea already, why would they need it? I can see what you mean by grabbing agricultural points and oil, but there's more reasons than just that, which I've already spoke about in my other texts.

Alright, im gonna answer this exactly as you want me. I'll talk about each point.
1. Starting with the first that you mentioned. First actually let me just simply say i don't justify those interferences either. But here's how you made a mistake; you just mentioned 2 instances of interference, that you believe are unjustified, yet you are trying to justify the Russian one. You can't have it both ways; you either support the Russians and therefore justify the ones you mentioned or you condemn all 3. Otherwise it makes no sense, and only proves 2 things; bias and misinformation.
2. I didn't really make a distinction between “Russian civilians” and “Ethnic Civilians” i just said Russians for easy of speech, but i meant ethnics. Second, in any war, there will be indiscriminate bombing, however, they never intentionally targeted non combatants. This whole argument tho makes no difference are indirect artillery strikes were used by both sides, and both hit civilian infrastructure. Therefore the focus goes on the fact that one is defending its territory while the other is occupying it.
3. Again your perspective is upside down. Your argument is basically that separatists had a right to occupy the land, that did not belong to them, and Ukraine was obligated to just hand that land over? Makes no sense. Ukraine had no reason to give its land to a bunch of militias. Also, separatists didn't call Russia for help as they were already sanctioned by them, from beneath. Also, important for you to understand that Russian occupation happened because the pro russian government had fallen, not because separatists needed help.
4. Um, no the reasons you talked about are not even remotely close to why the war is happening. Protecting Ethnics isn't even in Putin top 50 goals. As for the access, Russia has access to the sea but not control of trade routes. The part of Russia that shores with the sea i'm not much important in trade. The largest trade ports are in Ukraine and Crimea. Hence why Crimea was Putins first target in ‘14 and why Russia is literally docking its black fleet there. Also quick note that Ukraine is one of the largest exporters and is primarily why Russia is blockading their trade routes.
5. Kazakhstan & Mongolia. Why not invade them? Simple. Both are PRO RUSSIAN. Russia has extremely strong relations with both. They have no issue getting what they want from them. In fact Russia has intervened in Mongolia back in the 1900s at the REQUEST OF MONGOLIA. So why invade them? No point.
6. Once again, if Russia cared about the donbas region why did they attack western Ukraine? Also, why did they even invade donbas to begin with? Ukraine wasn't doing anything to that region before the invasion. You keep using the bombings as an argument but fail to acknowledge that those happened AFTER the invasion.
Listen, whether you like it or not, history is history. You can change things based on your bias but the reality remains the same. Russia always wanted Ukraine. It was one of the most strategic geographical locations. When Ukraine kicked out the pro Russian government in ‘13-14, and started their pro western course, Russia annexed Crimea and occupied Donbas, for 1 simple reason, to retain claims and influence in Ukraine.
You don't need to listen to me, go on google and literally search any peer reviewed, independent and credible source about the history between them and the geopolitical importance of Ukraine. It's literally the reason why Western countries are supporting Ukraine, to prevent Russia from gaining leverage and taking control of one of the most strategic counties in eastern Europe. So it all comes down to your bias and how misguided or uninformed you are. Are you Russian? Are you influenced by Russian news? Are you anti West? What is it?
