when will the war end and how?

The war is in it's 3rd year already and NATO (according to what I read online) delays in military help? So what do you think? will they do something like a contract? As I see right now russia doesnt advance in any big way on Ukraine.

There is the worry that Russia might make gains to threaten Ukraines second biggest city.

Russia HAS made significant gains in the last 5 months because he USA specifically delayed sending money and weapons for a long time, because American politicians who suck Putins dick opposed giving weapons to Ukraine.

I hope the war ends soon.

My guess is negotiation might stop the fighting.

VERY FEW PEOPLE KNOW that Putin set 3 conditions, that if met, meant he wouldn't invade Ukraine.

I don't like Putin, or the war, but his conditions were reasonable.

His main condition, iirc, was that Ukraine not join NATO.

It seems reasonable that Russia doesn't want NATO stockpiling tons of weapons right on the doorstep of Russia.

The invasion of Crimea, about, what, 10 years ago, was to defend their access to the black sea. I believe.

As much as I don't like the invasion, and as much as these comment sections on all websites really almost never change anybodys minds - there was a pro Russia person posting a comment several weeks ago that outlined about 7 points for why Putin invaded.

Those arguments made sense.

I just hope this war doesn't escalate, and bring more nations in conflict.

And the worry that Russia is so close now to, I think its Kharkev (sp?), has caused the USA, I believe, to authorize Ukraine to use longer range missles to strike farther inside Russia - to defend the city.

THAT is something that Putin says comes close to causing him to use (tactical) nuclear weapons.

I'm curious. What were the reasons he explained why Russia invaded?

I watch an INCREDIBLE amount of news, but here in North America, I only ever heard his 3 conditions to stop the invasion mentioned once.

I think, in general, to really simplify it, it is to defend Russia. From NATO expansion. From threats against Russia.

I think if you Googled "why Putin said he invaded Ukraine" or a similar search - you might find some good info

"He wants to resist the further eastward expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), restore Russia's strategic depth, and reclaim its historical sphere of influence around its western borders. Ukraine is central to this goal."

I don't remember which country ordered the missiles shot down from Poland. This would end in an escalation of the conflict
