Wow this gives such a great view of his speed before he hits the ground. I'm no parachute expert so I guess it varies based on ejection altitude/parachute type/whatever else, but it doesn't look like a comfy drop, but just enough to break legs/tailbone instead of breaking literally everything

The ability to pilot a fighter jet after ejecting is not guaranteed. Even if he made it back to his reporting officers, he may have damaged himself too much to be deemed medically sound to fly

I believe after 3 ejections they ground you for life. I could be wrong though.
