[BodyCam] Policeman Almost Killed Teenager Just Enjoying His McDonald's Burger

USA. A policeman almost killed a teenager who was eating a burger in his car. He got scared when a policeman opened the door of his car.

Officer abruptly opened car door and fired at teen, who's actually innocent and just eating a burger in his car outside of McDonald's.

Brennand, a probationary officer, was at a McDonald's for an unrelated call when he thought he recognized a vehicle in the parking lot that allegedly evaded him during a pursuit the night before.

Brennand initially said in an incident report that he fired at the vehicle after he was struck by the driver who was trying to evade capture. However, raw body cam footage appears to contradict those claims.

The vehicle and its driver were later found down the road, and the victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. The policeman was fired.

This cop is on the exact opposite end of the spectrum compared to that one cop who got stabbed in the neck yet still kept his cool. Of course I am not saying you should be happily taking a knife into you rather than to pull the trigger but come on, this is ridicilous!

1- Abruptly appears and opens the door, panicking and scaring the teenager.

2- Doesn't request the suspect to step out of the car, but dives in and clinges onto the car.

3- Gets pushed along with the door and considers it as a clear and imminent danger to the public or others, even though he chose to dive in.

3- Quickly backs up and starts opening fire.

4- Not valuing human life, even if it is a teenager.

5- Lies in an attempt to justify the action.

I don't know what happened in the pursuit prior to this event even if it did happen but speeding and avoiding police alone doesn't justify using lethal force. He desserves a damn lawsuit for sure.
