How open are you about your morbid curiosity when it comes to family/irl friends?

I don’t talk to anyone about it. My wife has said some things like “I’d rather have my throat slit than be shot in the head” and I resist telling her how wrong she is about which would be preferable. I’ve been watching the stuff frequently for maybe 15 years or so and this site is the first I’ve signed up for to talk to anyone about it and even then it’s mostly just bullshitting.

I don’t tell friends or family about the YouTube videos I watch? Why would I tell them about this? Watching gore isn’t a personality trait, it’s something fascinating to watch to pass time. Like a more intriguing TikTok. Don’t make it out to be more than it is

When it comes down to it, every human is fascinated with death. People even demand more realistic deaths in game so it gives them the satisfaction when they kill someone. Hell townsfolk used to gather around and watch people get hanged like it was football Sunday. I’m open about my curiosity with my friends.

I have a friend I share details with. We used to watch Faces of Death back in the day, so we are each aware of the other's interest in such clips.

I haven’t told anyone and i don’t plan on it. I’ve struggled with the concept of death and how my life is going to end a lot and getting over that fear is something i need to do to enjoy what i have now. I’m terrified of the thought of not existing anymore and leaving everything behind. Nothing matters so why am i so scared?

I use the same rule set with this stuff as i do with bad language....

Not in front of children or ladies

Not while in a place of business or worship

Not in most public places

Not while at work if in ear shot of anyone who might take offense to it...

But i will talk about it freely without any reservations when im with friends, and the members of my family and colleagues who really know me...

This stuff is kinda like a blunt... if its someone i'd smoke a blunt with than i'd more than likely be like "hey bro, you want to see something fucked up?

I only say those things to scare my family memebers from goin out at night, i tell em "theres people who just stab kids they dont give a fuck" and i tell them of a vid i saw where its snowing and a boy is walking at night and some random dude just comes up and stabs the kid to death

my friends watch me stream this website to them on discord and we all react together, irl friends btw

The only place i don't discuss these things freely is work, not because it won't be accepted but it's not work related and i don't know who i might upset with it.

I try to keep it to myself, or just cut out all the details. Most people dont like hearing about the details.

I sometimes tell my two boyfriends stories of the shit I see here. I don’t tell my blood family but friends and my partners know good and well I watch this shit. As long as I don’t show them they don’t care.

I downplay it big time as my husband does not understand at all and thinks its gross. I better never commit a crime tho as my search history is horrific😂😂
