hey, so my brain thought that for a second, but even though he was traveling at a rate of speed too high for a blind corner like that, he actually was otherwise not in the wrong here. he sucks at driving, and totally could have cleared that accident on braking alone but instead intentionally put his car off the road to avoid the other dude who was in the oncoming lane passing another vehicle.

guy who was passing was not the guy who stopped to check on him. the other british man is purely apologizing for the incident as a whole because thats just how they are. canadians do the same thing when they withness something terrible happen to someone like them.

he says "i didnt get his number" reffering to the plate of the car that caused the accident and sped off.

just wanna point out i totally though the same thing at first due to the speed alone.

ive been on motorcycles my entire life, first on offroad trails around the property, then competatively on motorcross tracks for a decade, then on roadbikes since i was 16.

driving fast is always a risk that situation like this, or where im from, turning a blind corner to find a tractor going 4mph or a group of deer or gravel or wet leaves or lawn trimmings in the road. hell, ive almost been killed by a gigantic smear of wet cow shit that splashed out of a manure sprayer.

sucks that "being a good racer" in any vehichle requires the ability to remember a track or stretch of road and be able to operate through blind corners and be on the gas before you know whats coming

closed track - good thing that gets rewarded

open road- dumb shit that gets yourself killed

-yeet
