They usually are. My cats are sweet natured, friendly, and clean. Dogs can be dangerous and need to be walked and socialized, cats are just way better.

Cats will attack kids that handle them too roughly, and I actually support this behavior. They don't try and tear them apart, they just scratch them once or a few times.
This teaches kids that animals are not toys, and are to be respected. Behaved dogs are way too loyal and will put up with abuse.

My first interaction with a cat, I was 9 or 10 and with my mom visiting a friend of her. I annoyed the hell out of a cat that belonged to the daughter of this friend, and she abruptly attacked me, making my nose bleed. I cried and the cat was eventually taken away from me, I remember the daughter crying because of her cat being locked in a room. 20 years later, I love cats more than any other animal, though.

Incorrect. Dogs are by nature more intelligent than cats, because they are pack animals, which required them to develop social skills to interact with other members of their group. In other words, social animals need to think more, unlike solitary animals like cats:

Dunno, but in my experience, when it comes to humans the more sociable people are, the less likely they are to be thoughtful and intelligent.
