I've heard a lot about that book! I'll have to look into it. I do think that 90% of crossed is fucked up just to be fucked up but i think there's a few stories where the writers actually knew how to use the crossed as a great antagonist/medium for commentary. since it does get handed off to lots of different writers though there's a lot of stinkers unfortunately because i think that the concept of a virus/curse making the infected just lose all inhibitions is a great one

They could've twisted it into a morals type question like they did with the first story (not family values) where if doing the right thing to spare someone from the disease is worth it. Take more time into the process of sadness, grief, and coming to terms with their humanity. A disease that abandons all that is a great medium for it.

he's definitely got a unique style of writing. although i see a lot of people criticize it, i do enjoy how bluntly he tackles sensitive and taboo topics. he makes it so you can't ignore them like most people do in their daily lives and i think that's pretty cool

sweet home is a good horror comic, it's about an apocalypse where people suddenly start turning into monsters from their desires. i've heard a lot about hellstar remina! i've only ever read uzumaki tho so im kinda green to junji ito's stuff, i'll see if i can get a physical book to go with my uzumaki one.
