Man I'm hoping against hope that that's a stunt double doing an action scene and not an actual old woman. That headfirst over the cart move is freaking insane and escalator stairs aren't exactly a soft rounded cushy landing.

I think that's a real old lady - and, yes, the idea of falling on those sharp escalator edges is very cringy.

It's usually other parts of the body that contact the stairs when falling down escalators.
There are a bunch of videos of people sliding down the space between escalators, and they often hit the barriers placed along there to stop people sliding - and it often launches them onto the escalator stairs on one side or the other.

Funny you should say that because when I replied above with the 'head hurt' remark, I was thinking to myself "head ? Jesus - just barking your shin or landing on your forearm on those edges would be royally freaking painful !"
Can't believe these cretins sliding down the tube escalators - I guess a dozen pints makes it seem like a good idea at the time.
