Out of everything on this site, above eye gore even, these are painful to watch. Only thing worse would be locked-in syndrome, at least as a quad you can hope for a moment to scoot into traffic or off a ledge eventually; don't fail though. If you're locked-in you're well and truly fucked with no way to kill yourself, meanwhile anyone else can put down an animal any time they want for any reason, but fuck your personal agency if theirs doesn't agree with it.

Look into "The Children of Darkness" some of the worst things imaginable were committed there on autistic kids. They were able to get a very detailed account of what actually happened because one kid had cerebral palsy, unable to move or talk, he was fully cognitive and aware of everything happening.
