Narabali! But this time a couple guillotined themselves, April 2023

In a shocking incident in Vinchiya, Rajkot, a husband and wife sacrificed their lives due to superstition. Hemubhai Makwana, 38 years and his wife – 35-year-old Hansaben Makwana performed a tantric ritual where they offered their heads in the (Altar) Havankund.

Their minor children were left with their maternal uncle, and the couple went to the fields with the items for the ritual. Before the sacrifice, the couple worshipped the lotus, a practice that is associated with tantric rituals. Authorities believe that the couple had been planning their gruesome act for some time, having constructed a fire altar and a mechanism to hold the blade in place with a rope.

After positioning themselves under the blade, the couple released the rope, causing the iron blade to fall and sever their heads. Their heads then reportedly rolled into the fire altar, completing the ritual.

Upon discovering the couple's bodies, authorities found a suicide note that urged their relatives to take care of their children and parents. The couple reportedly had two children and other relatives living nearby.

A two-page suicide note was found, with the wife signing with her thumb and the husband signing as well. The suicide note mentioned superstition and was two pages long. The police are investigating the incident and have sent the bodies for a forensic post-mortem. The couple had been making havankund in their fields for several months.

The couple's family members were not aware of the tantric actions that were being performed. A stamp paper of 50 rupees was found at the location where the incident took place. The police are investigating the reasons behind the lotus worship and whether someone instigated the couple to perform the ritual.

The news of the couple offering their heads in the Mastak Havan Kund in their farm in Vinchia has caused a stir throughout the province. Jayant Pandya, an advocate from the organization called Jan Vigyan Jana, criticized this type of work and expressed concern about the increasing cases of superstition in Gujarat. The organization plans to run an awareness campaign to educate people and prevent them from believing in wrong things.

Jayantibhai, a relative of the deceased, revealed that an iron stand was made, which was very heavy and could cause death if someone hit their head with it. The stand was hung by a rope, and the couple worshipped in the field. Hemu Makwana used to work in a bakery and used to worship in the farm. The couple's daughter came to know about the incident and informed the family. One of the bodies had a mangled face, while the other had a severed head.

Fuck all y'all crawling your way in here to downvote, just because you and your community haven't been negatively affected by the police doesn't mean they can't be or don't affect others - and being in a LEGO subreddit can't stop shit. Being able to ignore and compartmentalize bad things is a privilege. Cowards
