I'm maybe too much of a 'white knight' - and one day I was in a pharmacy, when the staff had a rowe with a scumming looking shoplifter, and they told me she was NOTORIOUS for stealing shit.
I watched her ride away on a shitty bike, and 20 minutes later I saw her ride up to another store and just drop the bike and go inside.
I thought she could get away from crime scenes less easily without the shitty bike, so I 'took it into protective custody.' :)
There was a bag tied to the handlebars. I dumped the bike in an alley - but as I was making my getaway - I was shocked to discover the damned bike had NO brakes. I could have killed myself.
So I dumped the bike and took the bag - and when I looked through it - of course that was a crack pipe or meth pipe.
Damned crackheads.

No, although I've dealt with a few criminals a few times - and placed a few under citizens arrest. One was scary when the cops later searched him and found a big knife.
