I work 4x10 Monday-Thursday at a really chill startup, so all my weekends are three day weekends.
Except weeks short due to holidays.
This week it’s 4x8 Tuesday-Friday and I have a GAY ASS REGULAR 2 DAY WEEKEND and I despise it.
Next weekend cannot come soon enough.

I work 7am-5:30pm Sun-Wed so today is my friday. I don’t have much to do until Sunday so maybe I’ll go to the pub or maybe play Teamfortress 2? I find a lot of joy in that game even if the community is worse than WPD

That’s another wonderful part of a 4 day work week. The weekend actually feels long enough and you have abundant time for whatever tf you want to do. And if you end up wasting it by just chilling at home the whole time, who cares? The next one is only four days away.

After 2 weeks of nonstop family and gatherings and events, I will be safe as can be deep cleaning my house and not setting foot outside unless the place catches fire

I used to love doing that when I was little, when my parents would make me go to this one restaurant I hated for some reason, and every time, they were like “Bowen.... don’t.... you.... daaare....” And every time, I was like 🤨.... “*B-B-B-RRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!*” — and my juice would go EVERYWHERE in a two-block radius, and we’d have to leave lol. Yeah, I was a little shit sometimes.
