An explosion at a storage facility for liquefied gas sent a door flying, knocking over an unfortunate scooter rider who happened to be driving by.
Shocking CCTV footage from Chuxiong city in southwest Yunnan Province on September 9 shows the door flying at speed into the path of the scooter rider, among other debris, knocking him off his bike.
According to reports, a huge explosion was the cause.
The injured scooter rider was sent to hospital.
Fortunately, he was not in a life-threatening condition and the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
