Towards the end the guy on the left comes out to get the phone, appears he's okay at that point but not sure about the other guy, perhaps he was just resting. So, I don't think anyone died but is still worth watching IMO

Looks so bad. Salvia really is not a toy, but also what you see here is only what happens when someone panics and also they are not prepared and do it in an inappropriate spot. A little more space like a meadow where nothing can break and where you can not fall very deep or hard is perfect. Salvia experiences actually are very spiritual in nature, so compared to most other drugs they lack the euphoria which also explains why it does not make dependent. It does not explain though, why Salvia can actually reduce dependencies from other substances as well. But looking at this video it becomes plausible why people stop doing drugs after such an experience. Just kidding, the actual reason is probably more fundamental. It's also completely different than any other drug from it's effects. It so much more powerful, like all drugs you ever took before just have been a joke in comparison, which is what can make people panic. Also the body hallucinations can become quite uncomfortable, when you feel your body being ripped apart and being twisted. But even more impressive is how even the mind is ripped apart and twisted, like everything explodes into gemetric structures and abstract concepts. Just the fact that one can experience something so fundamentally different from everyday life does pose a lot of questions about the fabric of reality. Also Salvia has a mechanism which is called "reversed tolerence", so the more you take it the more sensible to it you become, which is another aspect of why people often take to much, as they keep increasing the dose not expecting the tolerence to decrease at the same time. Most uncomfortable side effects can be avoided but just being careful, not smoking 50x extract in a bing as a starting point, but rather just leaves until you get the first effects, then maybe 5x or 10x and then very carefully increase over time while always considering the reducing tolerence and it's drastic jumps. I love Salvia and I think it's actually the most potent psychedelic I ever took, and I have taken lots of them. Taking Salvia will not make you euphoric after taking it, quite the opposite, but taking Salvia can make you more happy in general, because it helps to put things in perspective and not to worry too much about nothing.

I don’t understand the appeal of psychedelics. Especially the ones that last hours. Every shroom trip I had made me feel like shit. If it lasted like 30 minutes, that would be pretty cool. But being stuck in that state for hours and hours, it’s just horrible. I just don’t get it.

Sounds like you just don't enjoy it which is fine. I only "enjoy" some of my trips but I always get a sense of satisfaction afterwards and don't crave them again it's weirdly fulfilling and I can see why it's used by a lot of people for "healing"
Its hard to call them recreational sometimes that's for sure. Things like salvia tho are just too strong for anything but insanity.

I've done shrooms and acid both hundreds of times and actually never not enjoyed it. One time I dropped three triple dipped acid gummies and literally tripped for three straight days in jail. When the cops pulled me over I was like I'll just be honest, in my current state I feel like I'm driving the millennium falcon and shouldn't be on the road. Was only in jail for the three days because the bookie wouldn't book me out when I was still tripping so hard. Dumb decisions but I feel like having a really firm feeling of being the master of your own reality and knowing the paranormal doesn't exist always just allowed me to enjoy and remember what psychedelic I was on while tripping

The salvia "high/trip" isn't worth the effort/risk of a bad trip, IMO. Fortunately for these two fools, it wears off really fast- something like 15 minutes, and they abruptly snap back to reality- mom's spaghetti thrown up all over their clothing.
At least this wasn't "spice". That shit is nightmare fuel, life-ruining fun.
