It's easy to do. Please learn it, it can save a life.
Firstly, you, yourself, or someone else, call for an ambulance first. Even if you think it may not be serious, it's not worth the risk. They have forceps, and suction. They work wonderfully, trust me.
THEN:
1. Make a fist, and place it centrally, above their umbilicus (belly button), and below their sternum (their ribs).
2. Grab your fist with your other hand, in a position that will allow you to push your fist towards the person with as much force as possible.
3. Hard and fast, push your fist into the person's abdomen (where you placed your fist), and up, I an almost reverse "J" shaped notion, up towards their sternum.
4. Repeat multiple times until the obstruction has been removed.
5. If the obstruction has not been removed and they become unconscious, prepare to do CPR if they become pulseless.
Don't waste your time with patting them on the back. Also don't try and manually remove the instruction unless you know what you're doing, as you risk pushing the obstruction further down.
Now go save some lives - I wanna see less choking content on here thanks to y'all.
