Never touched the stuff, still not going to! Two Canadians did however and they filmed their experience. Their dad comes out later as the trip is going badly to see what all the ruckus is about, and he brings them in while telling them he's done having them smoke that stuff at his house.

Towards the end the guy on the left comes out to get the phone, appears he's okay at that point but not sure about the other guy, perhaps he was just resting. So, I don't think anyone died but is still worth watching IMO

(Teen Warning.) Young teen had most of his arm severed by a boat propeller. Axixá. (No Death.)

The accident happened on Thursday 6th, Axixá, Maranhão.

The young teen, name not released, had been happily swimming when a boat, the helmsman not seeing the boy, went over him causing the lad to get caught by the boats propeller. His arm from the upper humerus down was severed. The boy was rushed to the shore bleeding profusely, covered in cuts and bruising already showing. His rescuers were able to recover the boys limb. An ambulance arrived and raced him to the nearest hospital.

Surgeons tried to reattach the arm, but sadly it was unsuccessful. The boy is recovering and still in hospital.

(As per usual, if a repost, please delete.)

Sad

My heart is so heavy. During my walk tonight I saw one loan lightning bug shining his light into the void. Yearning for love with none to be found. I remember when I was a child they lit up the night sky. That is the thing of the past. I didn't receive a single mosquito bite because the city sprays pesticides into the air, but at what cost? We are destroying the environment in the name of comfort and convenience. One day we will see the folly of our ways.

Anything you need to get into the void

I’ve been seeing a lot of people struggling in comments recently and I just wanted to make this post for anyone that doesn’t have anyone to talk to. Scream into this thread whatever bullshit you have going on, need to get off your chest, or just how your day has been. And if anyone needs an actual human to talk to you can always DM me, I’m always a listening ear if anyone needs it:carphug::carphug::carphug:

CHILD WARNING Omayra Sánchez (CW)

https://files.catbox.moe/71qh34.jpg

Pic of Omayra Sánchez 3 hours before her death. Had been trapped in this location with most of her body underwater for three days. Of particular note are the red eyes and white hands. Did a quick search of the site by her name and was surprised to see nothing come up.

Shit happened in Columbia after a volcano eruption. Background:

Just after 9pm at night on November 13th 1985, a volcanic eruption rapidly melted the icecap that had formed on the surrounding mountain, forming a ‘lahar’ of volcanic mud and debris that flowed down into the surrounding valleys. The tide, travelling at around 13 miles per hour, engulfed the town of Armero, killing as many as 20,000 people. It was the first time the volcano had erupted in over 100 years, which had resulted in authorities opting not to set up expensive defences and other measures that could have minimised the death toll.

Shortly after electrical power shut down and radios cut out, a lahar flooded into Armero at around 11:30pm, sweeping almost the entire town away and killing more than three-quarters of its inhabitants. Across three waves Armero was swamped by mud flows for around two hours, burying some 85% of the town. The event ultimately became the second most deadly volcanic eruption of the 20th Century, behind only the eruption of Mount Pelee on the island of Martinique in 1902.

One of the survivors was 13-year-old Omayra Sanchez, whose hand was spotted protruding from a pile of debris. Rescuers cleared much of the debris from around her, but they realised that her legs were trapped beneath the collapsed roof of her house, and they could not pull her out without severing them. The rescue was complicated by the fact that much of her body was underwater, and whenever rescuers pulled, the water flooded around her, risking death by drowning. Divers discovered that her legs were trapped beneath a brick door and her dead aunt’s arms were clinging to her.

Over the course of the next three days, she was given food and drink and even agreed to be interviewed and photographed. She was positive at first, but during the third day she started hallucinating. While rescue workers eventually retrieved a pump for use in a final attempt to rescue her, the bricks trapping her had left her in a kneeling position, meaning they were unable to extract her without severing her legs. Lacking the surgical supplies that would be required if she were to survive a double amputation, doctors agreed that their most humane option was to allow her to die. By the time French photojournalist Frank Fournier arrived on the scene and captured an iconic photograph, her eyes were red, her face swollen, and her hands whitened from the onset of gangrene and hypothermia. She died three hours later

Edit found this pic too, wasn't sure whether to include or not as the emotional distress of the girl is much clearer poor lass, but It does paint a better picture of the overall event. RIP Omayra

For those that are intrigued with the psyche of our fellow human beings.

Toy-Box Killer, David Parker Ray, recorded a sickening tape which he would then play to his victims when they awoke in his “toy-box”.

This is NOT the original. HOWEVER, this man stepped in the shoes of David and spoke in such a way that it sounded like a true psychopath.

The horrors that must have taken place in his trailer are terrifying.

Ray used soundproofing methods on a semi-trailer, which he called his "Toy Box", and equipped it with items used for sexual torture. He would kidnap between five and six women a year, holding each of them captive for around three to four months. During this period he would sexually abuse his victims, sometimes involving his dog or his wife who participated willingly in their crimes, and often torture them with surgical instruments. Then Ray would drug them with barbiturates in an attempt to erase their memories of what had happened before abandoning them by the side of the road.

Ray was convicted of kidnapping and torture in 2001, for which he received a lengthy sentence, but he was never convicted of murder. He died of a heart attack about one year after his convictions in two cases, the second of which resulted in a plea deal.
