Brian Velasco, 41, said goodbye to his friends and family while recording live online on the roof deck of an apartment in Malate, Manila, in the Philippines. ...Investigators believe that the drummer fell from the 34th floor from a roof deck, according to reports. Velasco mourned the loss of his beloved pet dog in November and found it difficult to celebrate his birthday later that month, it has been reported. The 41-year-old joined Filipino rock band Razorback in 1996. Following the success of their second album Beggar’s Moon, the group has opened for US bands such as Rage Against the Machine and Metallica.

the death of alfie (his dog) was not the reason why he jumped. infact, he wanted to be a good dad to his new dog (panchito). he was happy, he did mourn but that isn't the reason why he killed himself.
