Social media users have expressed their sadness and emotion after watching a video in which a 21-year-old man decided to end his life by jumping from a rented house without knowing why.
In connection with this case, according to the account named Sorn Sopheak-Sorn Sopheak posted on the afternoon of April 26, 2024, said that the young man jumped to his death from a rented house at 12 o'clock. It was on April 26, 2024, on Street 13B behind Mittown Shopping Mall, Sangkat O Bek Kam, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
The body of 21-year-old Darith, a student living in a rented room, was found [buried?] in his hometown in Kampong Cham province.

In the video it looks as though he jumps off feet first, but the aftermath shots look like the dome took a good bit of damage?
Not that I condone suicide, but wonder of all those that jump to their death, what % do you think would really go for it and dive straight down?!
It's almost like jumping feet first is "I don't want to live anymore...so lets see what happens..." whilst diving straight down is a much more definite "I'm done with this shit."

True. If I recall correctly the cold-war era CIA handbook on assassinations stated that one of the best methods for a successful killing was causing the victim to fall from 75 feet high or greater. Hard to tell how high up he is in this case, however. Maybe he just got (un)lucky.
