A woman who jumped from the Shimen Bridge on the Jialing River in Chongqing was rescued in time and is now out of danger.

Video posted online showed the woman standing outside the bridge railings and preparing to jump off the bridge. Firefighters and police arrived on the bridge in time to dissuade her. However, the woman did not listen to the advice and still jumped off the bridge. At the critical moment, the rescuers held the woman's hands tightly and her whole body hung in the air. Unfortunately, a few minutes later, the woman fell into the river, causing a huge splash.

After the woman fell into the river, the Chongqing Marine Police immediately drove a rescue boat to the waters where the incident occurred to fish her out. In the video, someone said: "The (rescue) ship is coming, the (rescue) ship is coming, hurry up!โ€

After the woman was fished out of the boat, rescuers provided emergency treatment to her.

On November 26, Cover News learned from people familiar with the matter that the woman who jumped from the bridge was rescued and sent to the hospital for rescue after emergency treatment. She is now temporarily out of danger.

Holy shit, I thought she'd be a goner for sure after hearing how 99% of Golden Gate jumpers die. This looked extremely high too

Gotta give them credit when they do it right. We were spared the potato camera and parkinsons some camera operators have. That's a twofer!

I'm always curious if they record hoping for a epic rescue, or if they're a sick fuck with respect for decent cinematography.

Before anyone says the stupid thing some people say. Hitting water is never like hotting concrete. People who say that are mindless wankers

Usually the water completely dismembers body when they hit. It is no different than concrete. So lucky.

from what I know you can survive a fall of 8 to 12 meters directly into the water without much luck, you can expect to break bones like I said vertebrae etc.. water having a lower resistance than concrete it is less dangerous, and look she moove at the end of the video

and surviving a 40 meter fall is crazy unlikely

this is probably way higher, she fell about 4 seconds, which means that the bridge is abt 40 meters high

and I said 8 to 12 meters without having any luck because it is an average which depends on many factors such as position, weight, height, the winds etc. an overweight person for example can die from a much lower height, read all comments
