In the early hours of Saturday the son of a Traffic Police Officer shot himself in the head as he attempted to end his own life at the culmination of a serious fight with his Father.
The incident occurred at the “Kua Bunlort” Convenience Store on the Siam Country Club Road just before 2am on Saturday.
The shop is owned by Police Senior Sergeant Major Anupap who had just finished work and returned home to find his son, Khun Tosawat aged 21, playing online games.
It was time for the shop to close and the Officer was angry that his son did not help his Mother to close but continued to play his games. Eventually this led to a confrontation between Father and Son.
The Officer had removed his uniform and placed his gun belt on a table. He began a word fight with his Son, who eventually picked up his Father's gun and shot himself in the side of his head.
The young man was rushed to the Hospital and is currently in a serious but stable condition. Police are investigating the incident.

the kid died, i remember reading about it somewhere a time ago and it said he was in a coma but after a while succumbed to his injuries
