A 19-year-old high school student set himself on fire near a high school in Râmnicu Vâlcea on Tuesday morning, after losing 3,000 lei (about 650 USD) at a nearby gambling hall. Despite firefighters extinguishing the flames, the young man died. He had bought 1.5 liters of gasoline from a gas station and set himself on fire in front of the school.
