A 10th class student named Ranju Ahmed committed suicide on Facebook live in Kachikata area of Gurdaspur upazila of Natore.
Deceased Ranju was the son of Haraf Ali of the area and a student of Kachikata School and College. The incident took place on Sunday (March 26) around 1 am at the deceased's home.
Locals said, Ranju went live on his Facebook ID and gave the title - 'Losed, goodbye, stay safe, this world.' After that, the rope is twisted around the neck and hangs with the fan. After 9 minutes of going live, the family members came to know the matter, broke the door and pulled him down from the rope. But Ranju died before that.
Gurdaspur police station OC Abdul Matin confirmed the truth of the incident and said that efforts are being made to find out why the student committed suicide. A wrongful death case has been filed in this incident.

That's sad. I hung myself when I was a teen but luckily I chose to use Ethernet cable as the rope and it snapped after about 15 seconds. I took and entire bottle of ambien before that and don't remember exactly what was going through my head, but I was extremely calm about the whole thing. Pretty fucked up

Meant some sort of computer cable, was 20 years ago so don't remember exactly. I remember it being pretty weak but all I had/could figure out while fucked up on ambien. Maybe telephone cord, used for dsl modem or speaker cable. It hung there in the basement until I moved out, as a reminder how close I was to dying
