Ive watched this documentary. Its beatiful. She was dealing with so much pain and was ready to go. She was a strong woman throughout her end.

Wish this was available in my country too, i don't have the balls yet to do it on my own

After all the people I've seen die in different and even horrendous ways, This felt different, but at least she left happy and at peace.

they make it so easy here, but why all those mistakes for the criminals on death row? why not give them the injection AND give them this to drink, surely the double whammy should do the trick, no complication, no screw ups, guaranteed to die. Using much needed tax payers money to keep dangerous criminals fed and housed for the remainder of their lives is such a waste, but because of the controversy of giving them a quick and painless death, and not achieving it 100% of the time, they are changing it to life in prison. I say give em both, or even a triple whammy. Like add in a mechanical gunshot to the heart, or a hanging from height that'll guarantee broken neck and instant death, with the intravenous shot and the cocktail drink of whatever Michèle Causse drank.

For those curious, the organization Dignitas gives Antiemetic drugs, which prevent vomiting, and 30 minutes later provide the person with 15+ grams of Pentobarbital dissolved in water.

Pentobarbital is a strong sedative, naturally given in a lethal dose in this case. It allows for a peaceful and painless death, where you simply fall asleep and never wake up.

This is their procedure for almost all assisted suicides, including that of Michèle Causse.

Does anyone happen to know the substance that is causing the rapid onset of sedation? The main active ingredient is clear, but should in and of itself show the disired results in a longer timeframe than depicted here, no? Please, if anyone, share some insights as to how this normally composed for consumption as shown in the video.

My grandpa wonders everyday why hes still alive since my grandma succumbed to alzheimers in sept 2021. They were together 62+ years. If this was an option for him to go.. i bet he'd take it.

Having seen my mother go through cancer and die the hard way, I heard her wish time and time again that this was available for us here.

Having seen death by cancer in person, I feel no sense of conflict when I throw my hat in the ring with those who are in favour of medically assisted suicide for the terminally ill.

This is actually beautful. With her friends/family at her side. This is the only video on this site that has made me cry. And they are happy/sad tears.

While I do hope I can say this without sparking a political discussion, I really think there would be some objective merit in showing this video, as well as some of the more... unnatural... ones on here, to anyone who is against assisted suicide. The peace and cozy-ness of this video, compared with the sheer insanity that constitutes the rest of this site, really provides a contrast that sent shivers down my spine. I literally came here from the ms. Pacman video.

I really don't want to have to leave this world depressed out of my mind looking for a gun to off my self, slowly withering away from a chronic illness or, god forbid, as one of them human ragdolls flying about the highways after being hit by a drunk driver. When It's my time to go, I want to go like this.
