If you're gonna give a Baretta a blowjob, at least do it away from other innocent people.

Firearms instructor here who is often the Range Safety Officer (RSO) on duty.

Suicides at the range are not that uncommon. The company I work for has had a handful of suicides and negligent deaths over the year. Two suicides within the last 8 months to be precise. As a result we have specific policies in place to hopefully reduce the incidence of suicides. For example, if you are a first time shooter shooting alone you can’t rent our firearms. First time shooters shooting alone with their own firearms are closely observed.

That looks like a minor, and at my work a minor would not even be allowed in the range without their legal parent or guardian. If they came while I was RSO the parent would not be allowed to shoot without direct supervision by the parent and me.

The guy in blue -who I suspect is the RSO here- did not focus his attention on the kid, he was too busy helping the girl. And he didn’t even pay close attention to the female shooter she was directly assisting! She appears to be crossing her thumbs, which can easily lead to slide bite. And that happened with the RSO directly behind her and right after he gave her some instruction.

In short, the dude is not doing his job and is not really paying attention to the kid who is the most likely person in that range to accidentally injure himself, let alone try to deliberately kill himself, and I hope he lost his job over it.

the first time i went to a range i put a bullet in the magazine the wrong way and the dude had to pry it loose with a knife. i felt like a bitch and i'm still ashamed.

also here in canada you actually aren't even allowed to reload the guns yourself, the dude has to do it for you, which sucks cause it's fun. i know in the states they just give u the gun and ammo and u do it yourself.

Well, "here in Canada" I have loaded guns at ranges many times. So I guess that must be a local preference. Also, you can join the CAF and you'll be loading more mags than you ever wanted.

Woah… you are not allowed to load mags in Canada at the gun range…?

idk if it was cause i went with a group but, he would reload the next mag as you were shooting, which thinkin about it seems dangerous since the dude cant be paying 100% attention to you.

yeah, but in the states, you also have to drive to the high school by yourself, which sucks.
