Yeah, I don't blame Korean students when they live to study 16 hours a day in Cram School and at home. You get shunned in Korea if you sleep more than 5 hours a day since those are precious hours that could've been spent studying.

At my school we couldn´t open the windows without a teacher being present in the classroom and the windows were built so that it would be harder to jump out of. If there were normal windows in a clasroom, there would be metal bars on them. I actually considered jumping a few times when i was suicidal, but im so unathletic that i don´t think i could push myself through that stupid window fast enough before anyone could stop me, if they cared enough. That would be too embarassing for me.

Because for some people, that is life. There are other videos of kids killing themselves over poor grades or or not making it into a specific college.
There is a video of a guy who has his father watching over him to like 11 at night while he works and studies, he writes a bit and steps out onto the balcony of their apartment, while the dad reads it, he jumps off. There is a short version showing the jump, but a longer version with the dad watching over him, and after he jumps the kids mom and sister walk in and they are all screaming and crying. Brutal shit

Pretty sure in countries where kids kill themselves over college entrance exams, its impossible to survive like that. Dropouts really had to scrub toilet until the day they die single, fall victim to a loan shark trying to establish a new career, or do blue collar jobs with nonexixtent safety standard and ended up in this website anyway.
