I don't think you have any idea how much courage it takes to fight against your survival instincts and to end your life. If you're lucky enough to have a chemically balanced brain that doesn't torture you every single day no matter what you do, or to have been spared some horrors you can hardly recover from, then good for you. But projecting your own mindset on other people you know nothing of is just a demonstration of stupidity.

i'm sorry, there is nothing courageous about killing yourself. it's stupid and selfish and there is no excuse that validates such a bad choice. What is indeed courageous is resisting the urge/pain/chemical-imbalance that might trigger suicidal thoughts and NOT killing yourself. survivors of suicidality deserve to be praised. however, someone who actually kills themselves is a selfish moron who deserves no sympathy nor respect. It's the last step of failure that should never be rationalized. For the sake of preventing future suicide, don't play lip service to the bad choice. spit on their graves.

Chemical imbalance is a fucking lie sold to us by big pharma. People get depressed because they live depressing lives. Make better life choices and change your lifestyle (job, country, relationship). Get in shape. Eat good food and drink clean water. Do it for a few years. Then we can talk again about "depression". I was a suicidal self-harmer for many years, taking anti-psychotics, and anti-depressants. Now I'm 50, living in a new country, and living my best fucking life.

No scientific evidence exists of this "chemical imbalance", it's all turned out to be a sham. All the drugs they give are a shot in the dark. They have no real idea why, on a fundamental level, the drugs have the effect they do on the brain.

I looked over this video clip very carefully in slow motion, here's what I "guessed" ... It was a white woman between 25 to 45. She was well dressed in a white skirt suit perhaps a doctors coat and jacket? With thong type blue leather sandals. That's how I guessed at the first part. My 2nd "guess" is that her well timed jump was personal. Perhaps a little too well timed? Perhaps she had a fight with her truck driver "partner/husband" ... over... well, what are the things MOST couples fight over... 1.money 2.family 3.sex. 4.drugs or 5. Alcohol? ooked very carefully in slow motion, here's what I "guessed" ... It was a white woman between 25 to 45. She was well dressed in a white skirt suit with thong type blue leather sandals. That's how I guessed at the first part. My 2nd "guess" is that her well timed jump was personal. Perhaps she had a fight with her truck driver "partner" ... Over... well, one of the 3 things couples fight over... 1.money 2.family 3.sex. (Or drugs/alcohol) And before they could work out their differences (I'm guessing this had been an ongoing argument between them) she carefully looked up her partners (probably husband's) schedule for the week, and also every day before this one, got to the bridge where she would know for sure he'd be, and jumped. Traumatizing him. And ending her life. And hopefully not involving and children.
Again, these are just guesses on my part. I do not know this woman or anything about her. Things like this leave us asking "why" so I tried to come up with a plausible reply. Be well.
