Painful way to go!
the guy filming decides (for better or worse) to turn the camera off before the woman actually dies. Ambulance arrived about 3 minutes later, but apparently the substance she ingested is more or less unavoidably lethal within 15 minutes of swallowing it. News station indicated that she did not survive the trip to the hospital.

If that ever happens, i imagine it's very rare and almost always regretted.

I've read about people swallowing lye to kill themselves, which obviously erodes your insides. If you're suffering so bad you want to end your life, why add to the suffering by swallowing something so harmful? You'd think you'd want the suffering to end quick.
