Do you really that someone who would point a shotgun at their face and pull the trigger is in a right state of mind? It's pretty difficult to comprehend how your actions will affect others when you're in so much pain that you are actively suicidal. It changes your thought pattern and alters how you view the world including your relationships with others. Give the guy a break, Jesus.
