I just came back from Turkey this Summer. Beautiful place, fantastic food, and impressive history. Even if it is not a “3dr world” country, it is not 1st-world either, I saw a lot of fucked up shit over there.

I take you you don't know that we have steel structures and many houses made of brick. Wood is often used because it is plentiful, very quick to build with, and cost effective. I also suspect you may be underestimating what these "strong winds" entail. In the right conditions we can see winds over 500 km/hr, or 300 mph in real units. Besides, we simply do not need structures to last centuries. It is cheaper to build them several times and rebuilds offer opportunity for upgrades.

Man, i live in Germany. America has a lot to offer for rich people. But for the poor, it is like living in a 3rd world country. Even if you are a lazy, stupid, workless idiot you get money and a nice place to live for free. You know what free health care is? You know that electricity can be under the earth? We can drink our tap water. We dont have to be affraid to get shot every time the police stops us. The schools are free and good.
Germany has a lot of problems but im very happy to live here and not in some country in africa, arabia, South America or the USA.
You have some nice things too like a great movie industry, Rap music or BBQ. But thats it.

I'm 37 year old Black Man and near poor in CALIFORNIA of all places living in an apartment complex and I call BS to everything you said about the U.S. Never been harassed by cops. I wave at them and they wave at me and actually keep everyone in my area safe by pursuing the bad guys. Sometimes in helicopters with loudspeakers but, that's about all I've seen all my life here. Never seen down the barrel of a gun of someone meaning me harm nor been shot nor heard gunshots in real life. That's because, I moved to the lower end areas of the suburbs that are cheaper than you think. I've been harassed more by my own POC (Not just Black people). If you make good decisions and use your brain you won't have it too bad no matter your class or race.
