I believe the guy who jump off died right after few seconds of the impact. His body doesn't moves anymore (I believe, the quality it's bad because it's old lol) so thankfully he just suffered for a pain of seconds and then died cause the blood loss but yeah, it would have been more painless if the guy didn't stop him
