I hate this. An innocent life of unimaginable, unrealized potential is snuffed out because someone confused drive/reverse and to a lesser extent the brake and the gas. You would think this is a problem that automakers would have solved by now - I'm not even an engineer and can think of several potential solutions to this issue right now.

True. Thanks for correcting me. But they must have noticed their mistake fairly quickly, given that they were travelling in the opposite of their intended direction, no? On second viewing, it happened very fast, doubt they were charged criminally. Thanks again.

No, she died, actually. After viewing this video and assuming she died, I was so upset to find out that she lived that I booked a flight to her country, attended her hospital, and snuffed her out by plugging her nostrils just like Tony did to Christopher in the Sopranos. Everything is now balanced in the universe.
