You have to be going exactly 300 inches per second or a whole number multiple of 300 inches per second. That's the speed that the map updates. If you go too fast, you hit the wall that was there in the last frame. If you go too slow, the map has time to update and you hit the new wall. But get it just right, and you go through the map and can pop out wherever you want.

If you slow it down he is literally seated on the bike and stands up JUST before hitting the wall. Now i guess it could be a reflex from fear/surprise, but that's not even the weirdest part of this.
