Recall that on Friday, July 16, a terrible fatal accident occurred on the Soviet highway: a Kia and a truck collided, one person was killed.
As officially reported today, on July 18, in the UGIBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kirov region, the accident occurred at about 17:10 in the Kirovo-Chepetsky district on 24 km of the Kirov – Sovetsk–Yaransk highway. A Kia passenger car, driven by a 43-year-old driver, and a Volvo truck with a trailer, driven by a 53-year-old man, collided on the highway.
"As a result of the incident, the driver of the car was killed, and the driver of the truck was injured. A check is being carried out on the fact of the accident," the traffic police noted.
As eyewitnesses suggested, the driver of the car could have fallen asleep at the wheel: he began to be driven into oncoming traffic, where a head-on collision occurred. The man left a wife and four children, Kirov residents noted.
